Brief visit to Memphis based Experience Music, Inc

Thank you Jeffery and Lisa for letting Terry and I stop by for a quick visit on Sunday as we were passing through town. It is nice to meet such genuine and friendly people.

Ever since I first found the Experience Music site I have wanted to see some of these creations in person. Let me tell you that the gear on the site has to be seen and felt in person to really get a handle on the high quality of craftsmanship and materials used. There is nothing light or compromised from Experience Music or his associates. This visit reinforced my feeling that you can't beat hand made American products.

It is not normal for me not to snap a million pics but we only had 1.5 hours. I wanted to just chat and see some of this gear so here are a couple pics from Experience Music, Inc website.

This system is very interesting. I've never seen anything like it. I love the size of this system. It literally takes up the room. Terry made me laugh when he said the system disappeared into the room. His dry wit is great. I really liked what I heard and felt even though it was brief.

This was the highlight of the trip chatting with Jeffery in his workshop. Cool stuff everywhere. I learned a few things about horns and the benefits of mercury vapor tubes. A day I learn something new is a great day. It is a good thing we were on a schedule as I would have asked many more questions.

This has to be one of the stoutest horns I've ever seen. Solid and beautiful wood work not to mention being freaking huge. 140 Hertz Le Cleac'h Flare with a ~34inch mouth. http://www.elevenhorns.com/140LC.htm

Here is another big horn we saw in the works. I believe it goes down to 50hz. It is great to see so many big horns under one roof.

Thanks again Jeffery and Lisa.
