Luxman KMQ60 Stereo Tube Amplifier

Thank you my good friend Terry for the generous trade for this beautiful Luxman KMQ60 amplifier. I have been lamenting my lack of a good tube amp and this fits the bill.



Here are some pics. It is much heavier than I expected.


I really like the connectors on this amp. Why can't all vintage amps have connectors of this quality. I have a deep hatred of screw terminals even though they work just fine..

This amplifier uses the triode tube 50CA10. It is rare as Luxman designed the tube and not too many were produced. I will be on the hunt for backup tubes soon.
