Acoustic Research Corp SP-3

This AR SP-3 may have been misbehaving at the Klipsch event last week so I brought it home to have a look at it. At least this one doesn’t love 60hz so much. The phono stage is really nice. It is really quiet but the tone controls are cranky. I do not use such abominations and I wish I could deliver an electric shock to anyone trying to use them but alas they will not let me. I lubed everything up and will give it a proper listen later.
