71A 112A DHT Preamp 2.0

I have abandoned the singular chassis and am going with a two chasis preamp. Jeffery Jackson of Experience Music and EMIA fame stopped by during his cross country trek. He was generous enough to give it a look over. I was happy there was nothing massively wrong with what I had done. The main issue was that most of my 112A tube stash was oscillators. We could play them like a thermin and tube shields weren’t enough. We found the most quiet pair but I am also going to switch to try 71A as well. I get to rebuild it… I am designing new topplates and frontplates from FrontPanel Express. Many lessons learned and skills picked up on my first preamp build. Maybe ancient triode preamp wasn’t my wisest choice but the ears want what the ears want.
