Klipsch KPT-1802-HLS 300lbs Of Horn Loaded Sub

Times have changed and the really big hi-fi speaker components are in cinema lines instead of consumer lines because people today mostly want to hear their iPuds or whatever plugged into their whatevers. They can have their whatevers stuck in their whatevers. I'll take that old timey cult of hi-fi big honk'n multi horn systems.

The really fun stuff is tucked away in the cinema lines of companies like Klipsch and Jbl just to name two. Klipsch has really interesting bas bins including this one from the horn meister himself Roy Delgado. I understand he has a patent for this one but I haven't looked it up yet. This one is a stunner.
I know what your thinking... It looks like an MWM but it performs much differently. Let look at what Klipsch has posted about this beastie.

The Klipsch KPT-1802-HLS cinema subwoofer uses a patented, horn-loaded vented cabinet design with an 18” driver, resulting in class-leading acoustic output combined with commanding sub-20Hz bass response previously unattainable from even a 21” driver configuration system.

If  ever get another hi-fi room. This could be the start of a crazy multi horn system.

The hard part of obtaining horns like this from a cinema line like Klipsch or JBL is finding a cinema dealer willing to work with an individual to get pro items. It is possible though.

This is as the teenage girls say  AMAZEBALLS TOTES MA GOATS!
