Klipsch Belle Prototype

This is a rare Klipsch Belle. The photo was taken when it was located at the Klipsch Audio History Museum in Hope, AR. I think it is now at a University in New Mexico where they also have a Klipsch Museum. The Belle is one of the most beautiful speakers ever made and was in production until 2006. RIP. The performance was a little better than a La Scalla. The difference is the shape. The cabinet is not as deep as the La Scala so flexing is not a problem with the Belle. In 2006 Klipsch fixed this in the La Scala by using 1 inch mdf on the bass horn. The Belle can also be crossed over a little higher than the La Scala. I was told by a Klipsch ingineer that 550hz could be used.
