One-time Opportunity Sale Of Museum Edition Klipschorn AK6-ME

My wife and I are trustees of the Klipsch Heritage Museum Of Audio History so it is a cause very close to us. They are offering the very first pair of museum edition Klipschorns. These are very special as the veneer is unique and it incorporates the latest Klipschorn updates. All proceeds go to the Klipsch Heritage Museum Of Audio History.

Luxman MQ-80 1974

This is an interesting amplifier I found while researching a Mons Stereo Labs 6336A amplifier. There is no info about this amplifier so if you know anything please contact me. However here we have a Luxman MQ-80 utilizing the 6336A dual triode.

Happy New Year!

A bit of Dead Can Dance for the new year.

And  a little George Harrison.

Looks like we hit 5 million and I didn't notice.

Let us hope 2019 is better!

Sun Ra

“Reality is too harsh. Imagination makes everything nice. Use your imagination and get out of the most drab places by simply holding on to the imagination and making it real.” - Sun Ra

Happy Festivus

Don't forget to air those grievances this evening after too much nog!

Is Mr.Bean an alien? I've always thought so because of odd behaviour and the openening scene.

Prodigal Vitavox Klipschorn

Jim Hunter purchased a Vitavox Klipschorn around 2002 but it got lost. They thought it was lost in shipping but instead lost in the Klipsch catacombs. During a Klipsch factory cleanup Roy Delgado found the mystery crate and sent it to the Klipsch Museum Of Audio History across the street.  I was lucky enough to be on site helping Jim Hunter with a few things at the museum.

Here it is intact.

Jim Hunter says this is one of the earlier late 40's Klipschorn models.
It is essentially a shell wrapped around a Klipschorn.
The S2 driver was missing from the midrange horn.

The amazing K15-40 was still in the cabinet.

The crossover was mounted on a thick phenolic board.
Here is the lost Vitavox finally in the museum. It will need some repair work.

RIP Mr Susumu Sakuma

He build with passion and I can't pretend to understand what he was doing but I enjoyed looking at his creations and hearing him talk even though I did not understand a thing he said.

My personal favorite.
