Cinaudagraph Dance Music For 20 Tons Of Water

Cinaudagraph was found in the 30's oddly enough by the same family that found the Boy Scouts. The company was wound down in 1939 but reopened some time later with sales in the 40's. Cinaudagraph did it in style go big or go home with single range speakers 24" and 27". They reportedly had a range of 30hz to 16khz -+5db. They didn't believe in crossovers.

The Cure - Primary and Descent

I was into The Cure as a whipper snapper in High School. I still dig their first albums up until they quit the hard drugs and got happy. That being said I'm glad they did but not for what it did to their music. I saw them in New Orleans in 1987 or 1989 and I was shocked at how good the show was.

Retro Hi-Fi Girl Friday

I'm adding this a bit late but Lord Invader(LP on the floor) wrote a song called Crisis In Arkansas. As far as things are going in America right now we could use more songs like this one. It feels like society is devolving.

Bogen BIY

I happen to have one of these little Bogens. I am surprised these were offered as kits. The quality of the chassis is very high.

Klipsch Heresy II UK Review

The Klipsch Heresy was announced in 1957 which means it has been in production for 60 years. Then version II was released in 1985 and Heresy III was around 2006. This review is for the Heresy II. It isn't often I agree with a review never mind read one but this was sent to me and it is spot on.

More on the History of the Heresy here

Really vintage Voice Of The Theatre ad. Could this be a foreign advert since they spelled Theatre re?

Mag Lev Audio Turntable

I don't post new stuff very often but this is cool. A magnetic levitation platter turntable. I have a lot of questions but the cool factor alone makes me want one. The price is not going to be prohibitive as the price should be around $1500. I'm not crazy about the project arm but hey the price is right and the freaking thing levitates.

Check out some of the propaganda.

Worlds first levitating turntable

How to use.

Junior Marvin Police And Thieves

I've posted this before but I don't care because Junior Marvin was one of the best vocalist ever. The Clash as MC Hammer would say can't touch this.

Polysics Turns 20

One of my favorite bands. We have traveled many miles to see them live. Live shows are better than their albums which is hard to do.
