Klipsch MC Boron Cartridge

My friend Chris left a Klipsch Boron MC cartridge at my house so I mounted it to my Braun PS600. I hope to find a Klipsch step up transformer for it next weekend.

I will I had it I checked it out under the micro scope. It looks pretty good.

PWK And Hiroaki Hibino Phono Cartridges

There must be a good story here. Japanese cartridge designer Hiroaki Hibino partnering with PWK on cartridge design. According to Jim Hunter Klipsch historian there was also a Klipsch turntable but no known examples exist.

Silver coated copper wire, cobalt magnets and your choice of multiple cantilevers. If you see one for sale just buy it and send it to me 8-)

1960 Stereo Cartridges Have Personalities

This is something I try to ignore. The road to cartridge rolling can be expensive and as addictive as heroin. I use bang for the buck cartridges like the Denon DL110 and Ortofon 2M Blue or whatever I happen to score on vintage gear. Recently I went back to the 2M Blue and I was surprised by the difference. The 2M will be staying on for a while. When I was at LSAF a few years ago Dave Slagle has a turntable fitted with 3 carts. I tried to ignore the effects of changing carts but it was impossible. It is a road I'll have to go down eventually
