GE Hi-Fi 1956

I can't say that I have ever seen GE Hi-Fi gear before. It seems vintage Hi-Fi ads are continually trying to improve their wife acceptance factor. Yes the flowers certainly help lol.
While it may be mid century that guy needs a better chair.

Norelco Speaker Ad

People of my generation didn't know that Norelco did anything other than razors. Fortunately I now know to buy one if ever one crosses my path. Thanks ALK of ALKENG.com for sending me this ad.

Klipsch Ho Hum Ad

Only Klipsch would do an ad like this and not only poke fun at competitors but his own company. PWK was a different kind of a guy a southern genius eccentric and I wish there were more like him.

I've actually located a pair of these early McIntosh amps locally but the seller seems to like to torment me.

Lorenz Ad October 1958

I'm not sure screaming babies in stereo is a good audio ad. This might also explain why I've never heard of them.

Jefferson Tube Rejuvenator

This ad claims their device can rejuvenate deteriorating tubes. I wanted to call BS on this one but Roger Russell has a page on Jefferson testers and chargers. Apparently some early tubes can be recharged. Check it out http://www.roger-russell.com/jeffers/jeftest.htm.
