Comback For Corner Horns - Installation Of The Month 1962

Nice EV home built Georgian corner horns. Different from the Klipschorn in that this has a 15 inch in the bass bin but 8" midranger and a horn tweeter. Powered by Eico kits and Rek-O-Kut.

Electro-Voice Georgian II

The Electro-Voice Georgian II was released in the 1980's at a price around $20k. I was aware of the Patrician II but not the Georgian II. I wonder what else they released in the 80's. Unfortunately the electro-voice archives don't have any info on these.

Electro-Voice Georgian

This is the Electro-Voice licensed Klipschorn design. It looks great. I wanted to find a higher resolution version of this advert but I could not find one so here is what I could find.

Electro Voice Patrcian 800

EV built some massive speakers back in the glory days of HiFi. The Patrician 800 had a reported range of 15-23000. That is a rare feat even today. Not sure what the - or + db was on that but wow. This also used that giant 30 inch woofer. Would love to hear a pair of these. I would be interested to hear how they sound with all those crossover points.

Here is some technical data.

Over 42 inches high.

Here are some great details on the 800 from http://www.novacon.com.br/audiopat8001.htm.

Have to hear these some day.

ElectroVoice 30W or 30 Inch Monster Woofer

I haven't seen or heard one of these yet. They look absolutely massive.

Some engineering data.

This really gives a sense of scale. I bet the pressure in that room can get insane when pushed.
