What to look for when buying Stereo power amplifiers - 1959 Hi-Fi Review

Hi-Fi review examines 5 really nice amplifiers of the day. I have the Knight so their comments about it are really interesting to me. I'm rebuilding it this year to use on the bass section of my next horn system. It should be fine for that duty. If I could pick one out of this list it would be the Leak. Always wanted one.

Dynakit MKII

Dynaco MK's were among the first tube amps I heard. The modified MK's were rather fun and the rebuild they did on them looked great. I'm not sure what I would think of them today but I have fond memories of them.

Dynaco Dynakit ST70 1959 Reviews

I've heard a couple of modified Dynacos and really liked them. The MKIV is my favorite with the ST70 coming in second.
