The Brociner Model 4

Looks like Brociner was king of licensing good designs from Klipsch to Lowther.

Brociner Klipsch Speaker System

A pre Klipschorn advert from Brociner. I'm not sure what year that started using the phrase Klipschorn perhas late 1940's. I'll have to ask Klipsch historian Jim Hunter about this one.

Brociner 1952

I suppose after losing rights to build the Klipschorn they found another corner horn design. This one was based on a Lowther design.

Brociner DUAL HORN CORNER Reproducer

1949 Brociner ad for their version of the Klipschorn of which it makes no mention.

Brociner Coner Speaker

Licensed of course from Klipsch but here is an early Brociner advert. It features the K5 with trusonic hf driver and 500hz network. The ad says Pisa but every example I have seen had a Trusonic.

One Of The First Klipschorn Reviews Oct 1948

I bought a bundle of Consumer Reports from 1946 - 1948 because I heard there was one of the first Klipschorn reviews included. This is so early the name Klipschorn isn't even used yet. This unit was not even made at Klipsch but is actually one that was licensed through Brociner in NYC. Now I didn't realize how short or basic these reviews would be so here is an early review for you. I will post a couple other reviews from this batch but they will be basic and without pictures LOL... No pictures : ( How are we supposed to have audio porn without pictures and no I do not read the articles. Bah.

Brociner Corner Horn Model 4C

This looks like a design likely licensed from Lowther. I like the mid century modern design. I'd love one of these. It looks like a mini khorn.

Brociner Back Loaded Corner Horn

Brociner Electronics is a company I am having trouble doing research on. There is only a smattering of information here and there on the internet. I'm going to try to do more research on Victor Brociner for future posts. It seems he did some work for Fisher, Lafayette, Klipsch, Lowther and several other early Hi-Fi companies. For Klipsch Brociner Electronics built some early Klipschorns cabinets but this did not last long. Brociner employed the best designs he could find. This leads me to this very interesting back loaded corner horn that has been discussed at the Lansing Audio Heritage forums. Thank you forum members spkrman57 and Beowulf57 for posting pictures and plans.

Here are the plans for the Brociner model unknown.

Here are some pics of the Brociner back loaded corner horns.

If anyone has documentation or information regarding Brociner Electronics speakers please let me know.
