Edison Bell Discs

I like to imagine Edison was disc sound reproduction because Tesla wasn't and he could finally get ahead of him on something. Anyhow I'm sure we have all seen stacks of those very thick Edison Discs. I usually skip over them as it is hard enough getting a clean 78 nevermind a clean Edison disc. We do have Edison's and Bell's scientist to thank for the playable record.
Here is a rare pic of the Edison Disc in production.
An early beautiful player which appears to convert a cylinder player into a disc player. Very cool.

Bell Has It

I don't see Bell hi-fi gear very often but I love the 50's design. I'm a sucker for the MCM look. Guess I have something else to put on my ebay saved search. My ebay saved searches are a little out of control....
