Fisher 80 - AZ

I've always love the look of The Fisher 80-AZ. Utilitarian and compact. Wish I could build like Fisher.

Rare Pearsian Nutwood Klipschorns

A good friend is selling his extremely rare 1982 Klipschorns. These feature a rare engineered veneer. I believe Klipsch had Persian Nutwood and Rambling Rose. I've only spotted a couple of these in the wild. It is speculated that maybe they made up to 50 speakers in each veneer.

What's In An Enclosure? I love the Tannoy speakers but they never show up in the south. I've only seen one pair. Good stuff.

Can't stop listening to MIA today. Always something great from her. Blasting her loud enough for the neighbors to hear and to feel with my new horn loaded sub. Found all sorts of new vibrations in the house.

Klipsch Museum Of Audio History - Working To Reclaim The Basement

This video was made as KHMA members Jim, Eldon, and Kevin try to find the source of leaks into the basement. The building was concrete poured in  a giant form that was 10 inches thick. I believe the elevator shaft was the only part poured separately and is where the issues may lie. Foundation specialist Terry Cruse came onsite and gave advice to alleviate our flooding issues . They are working on implementing this changes in hopes that this cures our flooding issues. If successful it will save us a lot of money and work.

The old Klipsch factory and current Klipsch Museum is where PWK built and designed speakers after the tin shed. Solving these foundation issues will double the size of the Klipsch Museum Of Audio History. At this time we can not even house the entire collection and archives of PWK.

Any donations are greatly appreciated and will help us preserve audio history and the legacy of PWK.

To those who have already donated.

So Long And Thanks For The Inspiration Don Garber

I never met Don Garber but I heard his Fi X and Y. He never had a website and if you offered to build him one for free he didn't want it so instead of a website I received a bundle of papers making up his catalogue of amazing creations.
I love his designs as they were original and unique...
Thanks for the inspiration Don Garber..

Cinaudagraph Dance Music For 20 Tons Of Water

Cinaudagraph was found in the 30's oddly enough by the same family that found the Boy Scouts. The company was wound down in 1939 but reopened some time later with sales in the 40's. Cinaudagraph did it in style go big or go home with single range speakers 24" and 27". They reportedly had a range of 30hz to 16khz -+5db. They didn't believe in crossovers.

The Cure - Primary and Descent

I was into The Cure as a whipper snapper in High School. I still dig their first albums up until they quit the hard drugs and got happy. That being said I'm glad they did but not for what it did to their music. I saw them in New Orleans in 1987 or 1989 and I was shocked at how good the show was.

Retro Hi-Fi Girl Friday

I'm adding this a bit late but Lord Invader(LP on the floor) wrote a song called Crisis In Arkansas. As far as things are going in America right now we could use more songs like this one. It feels like society is devolving.

Bogen BIY

I happen to have one of these little Bogens. I am surprised these were offered as kits. The quality of the chassis is very high.
