HeathKit 1962 Advert

I didn't realize there was Heathkit AA100. I have the AA151. I dig the cheesy fake leather vinyl covering the metal chassis.

Kenwood KC-6060 Auido-Lab Scope

Check out the Kenwood KC 6060 scope. Jeffrey Jackson pointed one out to me in his barn but I only just started researching it. This is a cool gadget. I'm sure in the 70's guys would get baked or whatever and watched the patterns but it also has some helpful features.
This video is so cool. If I ever see one out in the wild I will pic it up.

Brook 12A Datasheet

I ordered the original photo fact off of ebay as I had never seen all the data. Since I am building it this year I should have it. My version will be larger due to parts selection. The first build will be pretty much stock. I am curious about what tweaks would you guys make to the 12a? Not wanting to get too far from original design.

Original schematic with error of C3 being reversed. Any other errors?

Klipsch Preserves Audio History Announcement At Sound And Vision

The Klipsch Audio History Museum is one of my favorite places to study audio history particularly Klipsch history. For more information about this announcement bounce over to Sound And Vision to see the official announcement.

For those unfamiliar with the museum check out this tour by Jim Hunter. It is well worth watching all four parts.
What is also being preserved is the vast archives and documentation PWK collected over the years. There isn't an audio pioneer that PWK did not correspond with and keep all letters. Jim has had his hands full with this task as it is an ocean of information. I'm always excited to learn about his discoveries in the Klipsch archives. I'm sure there are more announcements to come.

Congratulations Klipsch.

If HIGHS are here can LOWS be far behind? - Electrostatic Speaker Article 1958

Interesting article on Pickering electrostatic Isophase speaker. This article features Jean Shephard Americas story teller. You may know him from the script and voice of the Christmas Story. Jean Shepherd was a radio host and HAM radio enthusiast. Many of his radio shows were about HiFi and related subjects.

Sonny Burgess Arkansas Rockabilly

One of the last living recording artist from the glory days of Sun Records. These guys came right out of the Arkansas Delta. I'm glad they picked Memphis to record instead of Little Rock. I tried to find early videos of the band but can not locate any. Check out a few song clips.
