Newcomb 1950's ad

The Newcomb amplifiers and pre-amps have been very elusive to me. I've only seen a few of the. I dig the style.

  1. Newcomb PA amps and record players are very common and are in demand to be repurposed as guitar amps. Their so called hi fi gear is the same stuff in a different packaging and is not particularly desirable. It's all cookbook tube mnual circuits and inexpensive utility grade transformers.

    1. I agree but I love the time frame and the industrial look. The power supplies do look more guitar amp than anything else. But I dig the amp. I never see them in the southern us.. Well I've seen to but at the Klipsch Factory Museum.

  2. I have a pair of it! They sound very balance and musical!
