  4. Tannoy can still build drivers, but the good ones they won't sell separately and their cabs are overpriced and oversized, so that leaves me out.

    This is certainly an ad aimed at the Japanese/Korean/Chinese market. There is a great deal of symbolism here that is opaque to Westerners, it's not just casual cheesecake.

    Date has to be late 80s to mid 1990s.

      Read carefully, Alan Douglas' "Tubes In Japan" will tell you much of what you want to know. A little knowledge of Shinto helps.
