    1. As good as she looked in still photography, it's seeing her on the movie screen that really brings out just how different she was, and how powerfully she conveyed what she did. I'm sure she was a troubled person, but what she left us with was astounding.

      Watching Michelle Williams play her in the recent film was interesting. Williams is a good actress, but anyone who has spent a lot of time watching actual Monroe films winds up with one thought hanging over her like Bad Luck Schleprock's cloud: Tht's not Marilyn.
