Garrard 301 Plinth Building Part 4 The Saga Ends

The Garrard 301 plinth is finally complete!
Here is my friend Tim spraying the final coats of Satin clear. Tim also sprayed the final coats of BR Green.
If it wasn't for my friends Kenny and Tim the plinth would not look this good.
This is the best shot. The plinth has been wrapped in raw Walnut veneer and stained dark. The top has been painted British Racing Green. I thought it would go great with the cream Garrard deck.
Hard for me to get a pic of the green. It looks much better in person.
Thank you Tim and Kenny for all of your help.

  1. Great looking turntable. I'm sure it runs very quiet. Great team work on the production. Cheers Gord.

    1. Thank you!

I lucked out and got a 301 that had only been used by a military gentleman so it never so hard use. I baby it as well.

  2. Cool setup and tastefully done. Nice work gents.

  3. Interesting topic for a blog. I have been searching the Internet for fun and came upon your website. Fabulous post. Thanks a ton for sharing your knowledge! It is great to see that some people still put in an effort into managing their websites. I'll be sure to check back again real soon. high flow toilet
