ID These JBL Cornerhorns ?

I was emailed these pics by Johm who just purchased them and wants to know exactly what they are..

Here is the email I received..

I just bought these and have no idea what they truly are. I know of 1 other pair that surfaced on the web in 2009. There is a rumor that they were made by Bill Hartsfield as a bet between him and William Thomas of jbl. He  said he could build a speaker that uses a 8" driver that would rival the Hartsfield. Only 12 was made according to the rumor. The drivers are d216,075 and N2400. They both have JBL registry cards with consecutive serial numbers for the drivers. The inside horn path looks just like the hartsfield patent drawing. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Ok JBL experts what exactly does John have here??

Measurements are 32"h x 19" x 19"

Gray 108-B Tonearm

The Gray is a very nice tonearm with great build quality. I've used on a vintage Reko Cut table. I'd like to have one of these vintage heavies.

Arkansas Traffic Jams

Bluegrass band Foley's Van was cruising through Arkansas when they got delayed by a major accident. Instead of just waiting for the roads to clear. They got out their gear and put on a freeway side show. Top notch.

Stan White - Through The Miracle Of Multi-Flare

This is a very rare piece of audio history. Stan White made some interesting speakers. Some of his claims were over the top but so was his 4D Millennium speakers.

 HOLY COW!
Horns, horns, and more horns....
6 way system.
I need to find a pair of these in good condition to hear...
 Did you read that.... 700lbs!

Thank you Jon for sending me the link to this one.

1940's RCA TWIN POWER

RCA Twin Power or the 3ft cube. I love big speakers but I still have to wonder why they designed and built a 3ft cube speaker. Love to hear this one.

Millenium 1200 Turntable

I just know Star Wars collectible fans are gasping at the horror but at least it wasn't new in the box. Chill out though because this is actually pretty cool. They get points for creative Technics 1200 modifications and also geek points for building onto a Millenium Falcon.

High Fidelity - Electro-Voice 12TRXB

I have one of these that I use for testing amps etc instead of blowing my good stuff. I dig the ad.

Quad Iconic Ad Image In Color

This iconic Quad advertising image was used in many ways black and white as well as several versions of stylized garphics. I hadn't seen it in color before. I dig the MCM pad. They were not afraid to mix patterns.  That room makes my ears hurt.

BBC 301

The BBC heavily modified Garrard 301 decks. They took a beautiful simplistic turntable and do this to it....

More about them here.

A Horn Enclosure for Custom Installations - Audio 1953

This would be a fun horn project. Audio magazine has several large built in horn projects and this is one of them from 1953.

Racon Dynamic Units For Volume and Depth

Very cool Racon advert. I must admit that I do not know this horn. Would love to see it from another angle.
